Our Commitment

Quality & Standards

Every TEC INDUSTRIES product is manufactured to international PPR and HDPE specifications, with full in-house quality control across raw material, in-process, and finished-goods stages.

Our Promise

Quality is Not Negotiable

At TEC INDUSTRIES, quality is embedded in every step of our manufacturing process — from raw material sourcing to final dispatch. Our quality management approach ensures consistent product performance and reliability across every batch.

Our in-house laboratory is equipped with hydrostatic pressure testing rigs, tensile testing machines, dimensional measurement instruments, and MFI testers — allowing us to maintain strict quality control without dependence on external labs.

Standards & Specifications

TEC INDUSTRIES products are manufactured to the following national and international specifications. BIS certification for IS 15801 is currently under process.

IS 15801
Indian Standard

Specification for PP-R pipes for hot and cold water supplies. All TEC PPR pipes manufactured to this dimensional and performance standard. BIS certification under process.

ISO 15874
International Standard

Plastics piping systems for hot and cold water installations. Parts 1, 2, and 3 govern materials, pipes, and fittings.

DIN 8077 / 8078
German Standard

Dimensions, tolerances, and quality requirements for PP pipes. The global reference standard for PPR dimensioning.

DVS 2207
Welding Standard

Heated-tool socket and butt fusion parameters. All TEC fusion welding guidance follows DVS 2207-11.

IS 4984
HDPE Standard

Indian Standard for polyethylene pipes for potable water supply.

ISO 4427 / EN 12201
International HDPE

International and European standards for PE water-supply pipes.

How We Ensure Quality

Our Quality Control Process

01

Raw Material Inspection

All incoming raw materials (PPR, HDPE granules) are tested for MFI, density, and conformance to grade specifications before entering production.

02

In-Process Quality Checks

Dimensional, visual, and weight checks are performed at every stage of the manufacturing process — extrusion, forming, and fitting production.

03

Hydrostatic Pressure Testing

Pipes are tested at 1.5× rated working pressure for 24 hours minimum. No leakage or deformation is accepted.

04

Dimensional Verification

Wall thickness, OD, ovality, and fitting dimensions are measured with precision instruments against IS/ISO tolerance charts.

05

Tensile & Impact Testing

Samples from every production batch undergo tensile strength and impact resistance testing as per IS/ISO standards.

06

Batch Traceability & Marking

Every product is batch-coded with production date and shift, then marked before packaging and dispatch. Hydrostatic test records available on request.
